The “until next alarm” feature of the Android which disabled the “do not disturb” mode when the next alarm rings is now mysteriously disappearing from Android devices after updating to Marshmallow 6.0.1 and even some of the Lollipop 5.1 users are reporting the same. This feature was loved by many users but now that it’s disappearing, users are not liking it.
Although, this does not seem a phone or tablet specific bug because many Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, and Nexus 5 owners are also facing the same issue, but a “possible workaround” has came up. To get the feature back, disable the automatic date function from the settings and then set the date to somewhere before December 25th, 2015 or after January 1st, 2016 and the feature should make its return.
This surely is a bug that is annoying the users. Now, let’s hope that Google fixes this up in the next incremental upgrade for Android.
