We all have been waiting for Google to enable promo codes for apps which iOS has for ages. And now Google has finally given us what we wanted. A “Promotions” tab has been added to the Google Developer Console. So, from now on, users will be getting some free apps and in-app stuff.
Google has also put up a limit on the promo codes, i.e. a developer will be able to create up to 500 promo codes per quarter. Also, you can’t create any promo codes for subscriptions and unused promo codes won’t carry over to the next quarter. Developers will also have the option to put an expiry date on the promos or to pause the promo.
