MediaTek’s Tiwan division revealed the Helio P10 SoC at the Computex 2015 event in Taipei, Taiwan. It will be available in the Q3 and will be launched later this year.
The P10 features a 2GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Cortex A-53 processor and a 700MHz Dual-Core 64-bit Mali-T860 GPU. It will be the first SoC in the Helio P series. It will have support for up to 21MP cameras and a new TrueBright image processing engine. It is also the first SoC to use TSMC’s 28nm HPC+ process, which has reduced processor power consumption.
It will also have faster 4G support and will be pretty affordable.
