For those who are running the OxygenOS on their OnePlus One, it is an unfortunate news for you, the One¬†always received timely updates and tweaks whether it’s the OxygenOS or the CyanogenMod but not now, you have to wait a bit longer to receive the Android 5.1.1 update in the OxygenOS. OnePlus said that the update is so small and it brings so less bug fixes and tweaks that they won’t give it priority until the release of the OnePlus 2. And that will be happening in the Q3, from the next month to September.

We all know that OnePlus and CyanogenMod got split a few months ago due to some conflicts and stuff that happened in India so it also to be said that the 2 will run the OxygenOS rather than the CyanogenMod. They are also working on the Touchscreen issue and they will roll out an update soon to fix it. However, they have not stated when but yeah, we can expect it in the next month or so.

They have also stated that Android 5.1 Lollipop based CM 12.1 is also in it’s way, they already have a preview build that is going undergoing some factory testing and Google certification and that you’ll have it soon.
